Thank you,
@Neo-Luddite. I was probably just blind.
While I can approve of the “War Chest” play of the use of the profits, I don’t know that I would buy one with that giant warning not to, that
@hso posted above.
It reads worse on their site.
Parts may or may not be included? That kinda makes the mark of the persona of the company. They can’t be bothered to even inspect the product they were awarded with in their suit?
That tarnished their own name, not WOT’s reputation.
I mean, jeez, did they actually want to sell these things or not?
(Well yeah! Duh! Didn’t you see all our super tactical videos?! There is a Buy It Now button at the bottom of every one of them. No, we don’t have a site map, it’s just the one thing. That’s just how 2A tactical we are man!
)
However.
IF the trigger was operational, IF all the parts were there, and IF they aren’t confiscated upon delivery, $199 is not bad for a trigger with its, uh, unique features.
I believe I got a screaming deal on my Franklin for, I think, ~$217, and the Elftmann was over $300 all in.
I find it interesting that a cartridge trigger would not be drop in capable, as well.
A gunsmith for an AR? Are they serious?
(I know they just have to cover their flanks for all the “custom” ARs and parts, and “operators”, out there…
)
As an aside, the WOT was determined to be much too close a copy of the FRT for copyright standards. What makes
their trigger so not-terrible? The extra $180?
Still, very interesting…
What?! No! I am absolutely NOT justifying gambling my hard earned cash on a Tight shirt Tactical Tommy by night company for a silly Christmas gift for myself!
Well, maybe a little…
