As a reloading noobie, Im looking to purchase my first scale....I got it down to the:

RCBS ChargeMaster 750 ($110-midwayusa)
............or............
Dillon scale (D- Terminator?) ...($129-139?)

Any reason NOT to go with the RCBS?
I've noted positive feedback on the Dillon but the RCBS sounds like the gold standard.

Im reloading .223 match ammo out of a custom AR15 (Krieger barrel, 1:9)
with BH or commercial brass shot 1 time thru my rifle, and Sierra 69g MK with Varget or similiar.

Also decided on a Redding #5 tickler....good choice or not?

TIA

The RCBS gives you the ability to add the dispenser at a later date . ..I don't know if Dillon offers that option, but that'd be enough to sway me. FWIW.

I have an old RDBS powdermaster and it has given me outstanding service. I recently sent it in to PACT (the manufacturer)for repair and calibraction, and it only cost 32.50, including shipping. RCBS is great. I'm sure that Dillon will stand behind theirs also.
