trying to make a set of 38Spl 158gr Sierra JSP with 4gr of W231.
I put the W231 in the RCBS and set the weight to 4.0. the trickler spins slower than a 58gr R22 load, but not as slow as the 5.3gr W231 load for my 45ACP, and comes out to 5+gr each time. I tried setting the load to 3gr and it comes out to 4gr but not consistently.
The 5.3gr of W231 works pretty well with the RCBS.
It's also 100degrees here, I wonder if that is causing issues. I usually wait till late night and let the A/C run in the garage, so I don't have to run a fan.
Is there a trick to get the RCBS to work with these light loads? or should I break out the manual trickler and just use the scale?
