RCBS primer pocket swager combo

Anyone use this tool. I swaged about 250 .308 and the rod looks bent. I tighted the rod down all the way to avoid this, too just like the instructions said. Anyone have any luck with it? I guess it's time to buy another Dillon 900 swager.

I've used mine for about 30 years or so and never bent a rod. A bent rod means it was adjusted too deeply and too much pressure was applied.

Just call RCBS on Monday and they'll have a new rod on the way to you at no charge.

Only way to bend it is having it adjusted too deep.

A little sizing lube on the swaging pin helps decrease pressure a lot too.
