RCBS Turret Press

I was reading some info on the RCBS turret press and it says it can be operated in single stage or progressive mode. What does that mean? Is it auto-indexing like Lee?

No, it is not auto indexing. Only the Lee does that.

What RCBS is probably referring to is ---

Single stage - performing one function on a number of rounds, such as resizing 50 pcs of brass before proceeding to the next function. Leaving the turret stationary.

Progressive - performing all loading functions on the same case by rotating the turret to the next station. (progressively)

Not a true progressive turret press like Lee's auto indexing as Funshooter45 says.
