Quick question. This is the way i think the x-die works, tell me if I'm correct:
I take a spent casing that has been tumbled and lubed and FL resize with a standard die, then I trim to .020 under max, then reload as normal. Then the next time I reload that case I use the x-die to FL resize and don't have to trim. Is that correct?

If you have cases stretching more than 20 thou even after 4-5 cycles you're doing your FL sizing wrong and are looking hard at head seperations soon, X die or no.

Don't forget, after you trim to .020" under max length, deburr your case mouths, and then set the X-die mandrel for the new case length by screwing the center knob down hard on a case mouth. Now leave it there. It's setup for your next, and any subsequent, full-length resizing operation on that set of brass.
