Small parts? Do it yourself. I have used Birchwood Casey Super Blue, which give more of a black finish. Use 0000 steel wool between coats and keep redoing it until you get the shade you need. I don't know yet how well it wears.
Hit the parts with a heat gun and then rub in the cold blue. It works much better. If the first coat is at all blotchy (common with cold blue) apply more cotas uti the finish evens out.
