I just Parkerized a Beretta .25 pistol , however the aluminum frame is another story.

After trying to de-blue it didn't work , I had to wire brush the "blue" off , It looks like a baked on enamel paint {?}

Anyone know what to use to re-finish the aluminum frame ?

I could use Aluminum Bluing but I don't think it will look nice .

The finish you removed was likely an anodized finish. This sort of finish gives the relatively soft aluminum a hardened surface. Your best bet is to find someone who is experienced in re-anodizing aluminum gun frames.

Anodizing is a process where a thick layer of aluminum oxide is created electrolytically. It's the filled with a wax which may be dyed in different colors. It isn't a do it yourself project. Look around for a company who anodizes guns.

Aluminum anodizing

After reading of the process fom a company who does that I decided to just do a cold Aluminum black on the .25 Beretta pistol , its not worth putting big money into a cheap gun .
It came out OK but the next question is : What kind of clear coating can I spray on the frame that is resistant to oil ???
Is there any epoxy paint that will stick to an aluminum frame ??
