You are being fooled by perspective. The second finger is pointed away from the lens, making the nail look foreshortened.

OK with you? --- maybe I better take that back: I have injured my thumb with my Garand, and have killed a few x-rings, and even destroyed a few phone books - I guess you are right.

And I didn't know Cathy even had eyes - all I ever see is backside of that tight jumpsuit!
