Can anyone tell me are there any REAR night sights out there for a fixed sighted S&W 681. I have a performance center 681 that has a trijicon front night sight on it. A rear night sight would help a lot especially as the distance increases. Anyone know of a company that installs quality rear night sights on such a gun? Thanks.

I believe that tooltechgunsight can do that for you. They are the trijicon installation group. Their homepage shows the rear dots installed on a smith fixed sight.

Please do try a gun with night sights, for real, in the dark, before you take the plunge. I, and some others I have met, do not care for rear glowing dots.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the responses. I've had front sight night sites for years. The problem comes with you (meaning me) shoot in very dark situations at any distance past say 7 yards. I can see that front sight but have no way to orient it because I can't see the rear sight at all. I find it much easier to shoot with front and rear.
