I had to improvise to get the extractor relief cut. My rotary table thru hole was too small for the 1.25" bull barrel. I rotated by hand and clamped in the mill vice with a work stop to locate.

It is a wildcat that is a 45/70 that shoots the cheaper lighter 45acp bullets.

That is a .452" 16" twist Shilen steel barrel blank.

The case is a 45/70 that the top 1" is run through a Lee 45acp carbide die.

I had to open up the bolt face, and when I shoot it at the range Monday, it will be single shot.

OK, I stayed up until midnight, and did it right this time.
That is the Russian's 1945 cut on the bottom and my April 29 2005 cut on top.
