Okay, I have heard the term several times and usually in the context of "I don't want a new Marlin, they have the rebounding hammer."
What is a "rebounding hammer"?
I am looking into getting a new Marlin 39A, which comes with a rebounding hammer and safety. I don't think the safety is really needed because, well it's a hammer, kinda obvious when cocked. But I don't know what a rebounding hammer is and would like to know before I buy one.
Thanks,
JAG
