I just inheritted a pistol that my wifes grandfather used in WW2. Its a High Standard Model B with US markings and a Springfield Armory stamp serial 103xxx.Can anyone give me an idea of the year of this pistol?
The problem is its missing the slide and the pin/lever at the rear of the frame. I looked on GunBroker and found two models but they both look a little different from each other which has got me wondering if a parts swap would work.
