What books would you recommend to a mostly self-taught shooter to help improve his shooting skills (mostly with the rifle)? I've pretty much picked up the basics such as breathing, sight usage, etc.. either watching others shoot, or lurking in forums like THR. What I'm looking for are books that can help me get a little furthur, understand the craft a little better, and make my practice sessions more productive.
E.g.
1) Various rifle shooting stances, good drills to practice that can come in handy when hunting, self-defense, etc.
2) Different ways to use a sling, how does one use 3-point slings, etc..
3) Understanding long range shooting techniques (> 200 yds), how to dope wind etc..
4) Reloading techniques and tips (over and above whats in the Lee/Hornady/Speer handbooks, for example). I've started reloading for my .308 recently. I have the handbooks but they are a bit thin on explanations of why things are done a certain way.
5) How to compete and tune equipment. Mostly centered around silhouette shooting.
I have an Amazon.com gift certificate burning a hole in my pocket so I might be able to get a few books out of it..
