I am using a 6.5 Creedmoor Redding Type S FL Sizing Die. Just curious what size bushing you all use.
Measure the neck OD of a loaded round using a caliper then deduct a minimum of .002 -.003 and order those bushings.Using new 6.5 CM Lapua Brass. Will be buying a Redding Titanium Nitrate bushing to go with the Redding Type S FL Sizing Die. Will be shooting 140 grain either Hornady or SMK Projectiles.
That's good to know. Thanks. As far as bushings. I just wanted to see what others were using and having success with.Measure the neck OD of a loaded round using a caliper then deduct a minimum of .002 -.003 and order those bushings.
( there’s really no advantage to titanium bushings over the standard steel )
Just hype

What are these bushings?
Yep, they are the best I have tried.I've been using the Redding TiN bushings for several years. I have about $150.00 already invested in bushings, so I'm not going to change them. I've had good luck with them, but If I was starting out, I would buy the Short Action customs (SAC) bushings. They work in the Redding dies and are touted to be a bit better than the Redding bushings that I have read from precision shooting forums.

Yes sirNeck bushings for sizing dies.
Yes sir
Apples to oranges. There seem to be a sub group that really like the shot action custom shop bushings. I can't say for myself as I use forester dies with honed necks.
I just checked and I started with .287 & .288 bushings.Oh, and I can’t remember off hand the Hornady 6.5 brass neck thickness or what bushing I ordered to start with, but I can check when I get home.
Yep, no one ends up with just one, and you may not always use brass with the neck thickness you have now, it's nice to have some versatility.buy multiple bushings
