Finaly starting to rebuild the ol' collection. One simply cannot be without a good short barreled pump 12guage, and a high-cap 9mm. This is the first Baby Eagle I have ever owned and I wish I would have discovered it sooner...ultra-soft recoil, superb ergonomics, perfect fit and finish, and its the most accurate combat pistol I have ever owned. It shoots to point of aim and the one-hole groups get smaller and smaller each time I shoot it. And its pretty to boot. Its finished in matte hard chrome with brushed sides (P7 style).

Nice! Modeled after CZ's and very well made from what I hear.

You know what I love about it?
There are no billboard on the slide... no rails... no forward slide serations...
Smooth and clean lines.
That's a sexy handgun.

The Baby Eagle is the best value in handguns today. I love mine and wish I had found out about them earlier. My cousin bought one first, then a friend of ours bought another one. After I shot theirs, I went out and bought one too.

Anyone have a polymer framed 3.5 compact Baby Eagle?

I have a baby eagle in .45 ACP. The gun itself is very comfortable to shoot and super accurate, when it will actually fire. I can't get through an entire magazine without it jamming pretty much on every other round. I've heard that the magazines are trash from the factory on the .45. Anybody else have this problem and do you know of a remedy?

Big design flaw though. I went to a shooting school with that gun and shot way faster than anybody....but when i was doing malfunction drills that dumbass slide mounted safety would get turned on by mistake over and over again.

Yup george,
I had to have a gunsmith make the detent notch so deep and sharp that it was almost impossible to move the safety to get it to stop disableing the gun. :(

Other than than that the baby eagle is about as good as a Hi-cap 9mm gets. This was a fatal flaw for me how ever.
