Recognize this manufacturers mark?

Does any on recognize this mark?

I bought a cheap repro '51 Navy. I have no idea who made it.

I do not think it is a manufacturer's mark but an importers mark.

yep that's an import mark.
look on the barrel for proof marks and a serial number would help Identify the pistol if it don't have the manufacturers name stamped on it.

That is the mark used by Replica Arms, an importer that was eventually bought out by Navy Arms. Not sure of the exact timeframe.

IIRC Replica Arms imported a few manufacturers stuff

It is stamped Navy Arms. I know that they have bought from various manufacturers over the years.

It has a couple of proof marks. Those are identical to ones on a Pedersoli and a Pietta I have. Date code is AB and serial number 92610. No other indicators of maker.

I know it is Italian because it is stamped Made in Italy.

AB = 1976.

What exactly do the markings say? You can also look on the bottom of the barrel under the loading lever. Makers marks are frequently hidden there.

Ok, I found a Pietta mark forward of the trigger guard where the barrel extension curves. I am embarrassed I didn't see that before. Thanks for the help.
