I'll be sniffing around online but with the hazmat fee and shipping, it would have to be a heck of a deal to be worth it.

$25? Heck, that's not hard to beat.

5000 Primers - $90
Hazmat - $20

Even if you add shipping, I will bet that you will beat $125. Order more and the savings just keep on coming.

Our local gun club, United Sportsmen, Inc. in Concord, CA (that's SF Bay area no less), sells to members at 6% over cost. Haven't been to a gun show in years.

Cow Palace who?

Scored on primers!

Last night went to a local gun sho & found 4 1000 count boxes of CCI #500 Sm. Pistol primers--the dealer let me have 'em for $45, plus my admissson of $5, so that's $52 for 4000 primers = $0.013/each or 1.3 cents/each.

They were in the old-style tiny little boxes that were used before OSHA or some such decided that primers were--gasp--hazardous. But primers don't deteriorate in storage. The new-style boxes of the same primers run $21-22 at Sptsmns Whse, for a cost of 2.1 to 2.2 cents each.

So I'm set for primers for my competitive pistol reloading needs, for a while. My wife thought it was a good deal.
