Just like the title says, any recommendations for an inexpensive holster for a Glock 34. Although this is informal practical shooting... I'd prefer an IDPA legal type of holster... so no speed rigs please.
Brigade Quartermaster is offering a line of Blade Tech Kydex holsters called the Revolution series and they have one available for the Glock 34/35 pistols.
It offers the option of either a quick release belt loop assembly or fixed belt loops and both come in the package.
Fobus is dirt cheap and has a softer feel than Uncle Mike. At IPSC / IDPA most people use kydex some leather absolutely NO nylon except from first-timers.
If you are willing to spend a bit more you can get one of their nicer kydex holsters that is molded for the 34 (so it won't stick out the bottom) as the competition special. http://blade-tech.com/Competition-Special-pr-1025.html
Blade tech kydex is what many experienced shooters use for IDPA and USPSA production. I have a Sidearmor, which works fine. Nylon and leather both have disadvantages for gun games, though they each have advantages in other contexts.
