Recommendation for Hard Chrome Plater?

Hi folks,

I have an IAI (AMT) 1911 and I'm interested in having the slide and frame hard chrome plated for durability. Can someone suggest a reputable company that does high quality work?

Each offers different options on appearance and pricing:
Some off only the original pearl-gray matte finish and some offer polishing to stainless appearance, and some off near-mirror finishes.

That one link has a bunch of people who don't know the difference between decorative chrome and hard chrome.

The old guns with decorative chrome all look pretty crappy now but hard chrome won't have that issue.

I was looking at having tripp do a rifle when I can affford it. I want a good all weather shtf bolt rifle.

Make sure you specify hard or soft chrome and polished or matt finish. If you want any changes on the gun such as chamfering the corners you must do it before plating !!
