Try a glock 26, It carries well 9mm cal something you are used to. Tough as nails simple to use. You can get mag extensions if your hands are big so that your little fingure is not lost on the end of the grip.

What cartridge is your Sig 226 ? aren't they available in 9MM & .40 S&W ?

Not sure what to offer with your full size 9MM x 19 P226

Semi-AUto for CCW

COlt Commander sized 4 1/4" Bbl. length in .45 ACP
I have a full size 1911 w/Milt Sparks Axiom & the full length makes
the OWB holster a bit dress for the part - I think a Commander size with
OWB would be easier for ccw or if you can IWB.

REvo for CCW

S&W J-Frame 640 .357

S&W Night Guard in the 315 NG K-frame 6 shot .38 Spcl +P
or S&W 325 NG .45 ACP 6 shot full moon clips.

a .45 ACP would expand your handgun experience. or perhaps a
semi-auto .40 S&W COmpact ???
