My oldest son is back in Afghanistan, in a job where he frequently wears civvies and interacts directly with Afghan officials. Although he can wear a standard military holster during such interactions, it's sometimes more prudent--and authorized--to carry concealed.

He's asked me to send him a good IWB holster. He says sweat is not a factor, since he would normally carry concealed for just a few hours. He would like to have good access while sitting.

Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

Been wearing MDJ's IWB holster for my Beretta 92FS: http://www.ebay.com/itm/IWB-Kydex-Leather-Hybrid-Holster-Beretta-92-96-/280732489276

It's very similar to Crossbreed's Supertuck so you can tuck in your shirt while carrying. It's half the price of Crossbreed but besides the name I can't tell the difference. The Beretta 92 is just such a big and heavy gun to carry IWB though, especially with my thin frame. If I carry IWB at the 5 o'clock position it's tolerable for brief durations.

I just received my Comp-Tac Infidel Ultra for a XD-Sub 9. Less than a week shipped to me. Very comfortable and conceals nicely.

I like leather carry gear.
I would check out Galco's line of IWB holsters like the summer comfort and others.
I personally carry a Kirkpatrick IWB 'TXC' everyday and like a quite a bit.

With a bigger gun like the 92FS the belt will be the most critical part.
If you are limited in funds buy a really good belt and a cheaper holster.

Call Milt Sparks and see if they can give you some priority to their normal six to eight month wait list. A Versa-Max would be the most comfortable holster (IMO) and they're top quality.
