Recommended FFL in CT?

I'm purchasing a rifle on Gunbroker and need a place to ship it thats reasonable and close to Milford.

Anyone have any recomendations?

How about Jojo's in Southington. They are 2 nice guys who sell guns but do a ton of gunsmith work. They are good to know. I just purchased a gun from Predator Masters forum and sent it to Riverview sales in East Windsor but I think that is too far for you. Jay

Have you used the gunbroker FFL search feature?

The only places in milford area that i know of are K-5 Arms, that new gunshop on the post road, and the shop at the Bridgeport Shooting Range.
I don't know any of their prices though, and there have got to be others who can.

I've never seen a cheaper price for a transfer in CT.

I'll probably call that guy in Shelton.

I don't want to use K5, Frank is great I just don't want him to know I'm not buying a gun through him. Although he doesn't really deal in old bolt action military rifles.

Ahh screw it maybe I'll just ask if Frank will do it. At least if I go through K5 I know their won't be any problems, and since they have to hold it for 2 weeks I know it won't be screwed with.

Yeah, but if you go to K5 arms, you'd better wear a class III vest, carry a sooper tacticool pistol, and claim to be a former SEAL, SWAT, Combt Controller, etc... or you won't fit in!

why do they have to hold it for two weeks? You don't have a permit, EC, or hunting license?

I'm getting my pistol permit, but it will probably be a couple months before I have it.

So I still have to wait, which really sucks.

Edit to add: For bonus points you may to try a 'tactical role' through the door followed by 'slicing the pie' in the main room of the shop.

I'd be interested to hear what K5 charges. Last time i went in there all of their prices were absurdly high.
