Record CWP applicants

I moved to NOVA in late October and submitted my CWP application right away. I just got it today (exactly 45 days) and talking to the clerk, they have been swamped in Fairfax county. In December they had 800 applications, up from average 300 and in the 6 days the court has been open in January, they've had over 400.

I'd say with numbers like that, most folks aren't supporting gun control. I just wonder if the politicians notice?

Now if only they'd join the NRA too.

Concealed carry training classes are swamped in my neck of the woods, too. Classes that aren't usually full are booked through March.

I generally only get about 2-3 calls a year for training in my area.

to put it in perspective, Im booked for the next 2 months with about 20 students.
