If you absolutely have to stay under $100, I would suggest the TRS-25 or Primary Arms Classic Series Microdot.

For the small jump in price though, I would recommend spending a smidge more and getting a Sig Romeo 5 or Primary Arms Advanced Microdot. You'll likely make back the difference in price in battery life.

I'm also intrigued by the Swampfox Liberator/Liberator II, especially since I qualify for their LE discount.

If it were just for a 22, I'd suggest just getting some cheapy since it'll mainly be a range toy. However, the idea of putting it on a shotgun makes me lean heavily towards a better known entity.

I put up siding, and given the winter weather, my budget is very tight and it will just be a range toy, so 100.00 bucks is my max. Plus I already order the TRS-25 which will be here tomorrow. My next red dot purchase will most likely be a Romeo 5 or something in the 100 to 150 dollar range. I've also heard good things abut the Swampfox Liberator/Liberator II but my budget is my budget.

Lol thats like selling paint in the winter. I know all about that. A buddy of mine has a sightmark brand red dot. It was about 100 bucks iirc. Quality looks good to me though i have not shot it. Might look at them for your next one!

Totally understand, I don't generally buy expensive optics. I splurged on a Sightmark Wraith for like $375 and that is the most expensive optics I've ever bought. Ended up trading it (and all its accessories) for a Vortex Viper HST which is now my most expensive scope by a long shot. Otherwise I've never spent over $200 on a scope.

My first optic on my AR was a TRS-25, I think you'll be happy.
