I'm looking for a durable red dot sight that can withstand cold, the recoil of a 12cal shotgun. The problem, however, is that the rail on which to mount the sights is 14mm wide (3mm or so thick) and most sights are made for 11mm rails (or so it seems in the shops I've been to).
So are there such sights out there? Some kind of a mounting system would also be okay, something that would attach to the shotgun's rail and on which I could then mount the sights themselves.
Aimpoint does have a suitable product but... man, the price is steep! Especially since I live in Europe and everything here is very expensive (I'd say all gun products are practically twice the price here as they are in the States).
