Today I finally got my new Sirroco from Red Nichols for my P30S! Sorry about the bad lighting...

This holster is amazing! It's cowhide lined with kangaroo and trimmed with ostrich. The detail is amazing, and if you couldn't hold it and feel the leather you might think it was kydex, so precisely is it formed.

As as great as it looks it functions even better. Just trying it on and wearing it around the house I was amazed by how tight it pulls the gun in. It's virtually as close as my Garrett Silent Thunder IWB!

It was kind of expensive but well worth the money! When I recover from a few major purchases and can afford it I want to get another one for my Browning Hi-Power.

Thanks, Red!

May I show off another High Noon Red Nichols holster? This is an incredible rig, shown here for my friend's Hi Power.

Beautiful and functional...can't beat it.

That's dead-sexy, Armoredman! I want one of those for my BHP, too. I'm really hoping the Redstock line will be expanded a bit to cover a few more of the guns Red has the Blue Guns for.

I don't carry my Sirocco every day, it shares time with my Garrett IWB. The IWB is just slightly more concealable, not much but a little, due to being inside my waistband. So I wear it when I really can't risk the gun being seen (like at the cineplex that's posted 'no firearms'- the sign has no force of law but I could be asked to leave). But I will say the Sirocco is supremely comfortable! I did have to wrap the P30S in the thickest ziplock bag I've ever seen and leave the gun holstered that way for a couple days. Initially it was almost too tight to draw with one hand! But that's the way it's supposed to be...you can always stretch it a little but you can't tighten up a rig that's too lose.

Everyone that's seen my Nichols Sirocco has had their jaw literally drop!:D It's such a beautiful rig that it's a shame to hide it with my jacket or shirt.:banghead::D

BTW, that is some fine photography! Your pictures are much better than mine. I really feel like I owe Red an apology for not capturing the beauty if his rig better.

Nonsense, nothing wrong with your picture. Black doesn't show up as well as red does. :)
My buddy who got this rig said the first day he wore it, (the day pictured above), he thought he'd left his old Hi Power at the range, because it was so light and comfortable.

That's some nice looking leather and some darn good pics as well.

As much as I like kydex for certain situations, it just lacks the aesthetics and beauty of leather IMHO.

I can believe that! It's amazing how light the holster is and how well it distributes the weight of the gun. Even more amazing is how tight it rides, better than any OWB I've worn.

There's only one problem now- my pants. Usually I carry IWB so it hasn't been a problem but the one of the belt loops is dead-smack in the spot where I always carry. You couldn't design it better to be in the way! I will have to see if I can find anyone that can move the loop for me.

Not to make you all jealous :) but he gave me one for free because I answered a question in another forum LOL.
