I just picked up a neck sizing die for 8mm, wanted to see how it does for my Mauser. All I can say is what a master piece of a die! I think it has to be one of the nicest dies I've ever bought.

Now I'll rethink which dies I'll buy, I usually buy RCBS but the Redding die is just so much nicer. It was also expensive but the fit n finish were top notch!

Redding Quality Stuff

I switched all my dies to Redding probably about 8 different cartridges now. I am very satisfied with them service is also excellent. Wait till you try one of their competition die sets the titinium nitride bushings are sweet. Clean the case and neck size no lube neccesary.

Good luck and shoot straight.

you might pay a little more but cheap is not good and good is not cheap!! you wouldn't believe the duckets I spent on their product in the last mo.:D

Yeah, I think I'll buy a 500 S&W set next and sell my other set. If those work out well enough I'll start replacing the other sets.

Redding dies are my first choice but RCBS are a close second should I not find the Redding dies I want.

But, the RCBS Gold Medal seater die is the cats meow with inserting the bullet in the side of the die. Unfortunately, they are only available in a limited number of cartridges.

All my rifle dies are Redding Competition Die Sets - You get what you pay for. For handguns, it matters not to me. While I prefer RCBS, I also have Lyman and Hornady.

Redding dies are of excellent quality and workmanship. I bought my first set because nothing else was available in that size at the time. I have bought them ever since. Whenever, they are on sale, the cost is very competitive with RCBS. I have dies from all the major (and some minor) manufacturers. While they all do their jobs well, some are more enjoyable to use.

Forster micrometer seater dies are excellent. As good as any and better than most. Also, cost less than other micro seaters.
