Ok, I finally have a Redhawk Alaskan coming in on Monday or Thursday of next week. :) :) :) Has anyone seen any leather for this pistol? (Oh yeah, and it has to be left handed. :) )

Have a good one,
Dave

Mernickle Leather made a great one for me. Their model 83 with a retention strap. It is a left hand cross draw, molded specifically for the Alaskan. It carries the weight very comfortably no matter what I am doing, walking, horseback, truck or tractor doing chores and it keeps the Alaskan at a great angle for a quick draw if needed. It is also very reasonably priced and the workmanship if great. Looks good and the stitching is very strong. Should last a lifetime. Check them out at:

I have several holsters myself made by Rob of Simply Rugged. Good stuff reasonably priced.

I can attest to Simply Rugged quality holsters... I just had a custom one made for my Alaskan and it is excellent quality! Rob knows what he is about!

I got mine from Rob @ Simply Rugged. It was $40 and works so well I don't even know the pistol is on my belt.
