Reduced loads for 243 with cast bullets

Is there any place one can research reduced loads for the 243 with cast bullets. I am wanting to use up my blue dot powder. The bullet 86 gr. with gas checks. I want to stay under 2000 fps to avoid possible leading. Any advice? Thanks.

Yor best bet is going to be GRT or quickloads. 4227 is the slowest I've seen a listing for. That cartridge is hard due to the overbore dimensions

He had his test results posted over on the campfire. I've used it too get my own loads.
Another one is "Lever Performance studies".
If you're truly looking for popgun loads.

I've used it in 22-250, 30-30, 30-40, 7x57, and 8x57.
I was only loading to mid 1600 fps. It definitely works. Just remember you're loading reduced velocity. Not necessarily reduced pressure.

Blue Dot may work ok I have used it in .308 Win with 125gr jacketed but the load density was about 45%

All of my Lyman Reloading Manuals (3 including the 50th edition) include cast bullet loads included with the jacketed bullet loads.

The 3rd is one of my most used manuals. Cornell publications has a lot of past gun related books. In reprints. So they are not beat up like some used ones are.
