Refinishing aluminum?

what color are you wanting done? type III black might be the "toughest" id go with. keep in mind when you strip existing anno you are stripping off the top layer of aluminum.

serialized stuff you need the necessary BATF junk. Non serialized stuff is fair game.

Pre 1968 but post 1898 nonserialized receivers are not "fair game". They still require the BATFE "junk".

im not talking about receivers here as the BATF junk classifies them as firearms alone. im referring to every other part that is non serialized that by itself isnt classified as a weapon. IE like the Drop in auto sears (serial and non serial) are classified like the lower receivers.
