Regular folks having fun on the range

Talk about a great chance for a poster...while I was out shooting yesterday afternoon it was just a bunch of regular people having fun.

On the pistol range there were 3 guys (myself included) all wearing khakis and polos and a youngish family wearing trendy Abercrombie/Holister type clothes.

All with their eyes and ears, and after my equipment change closed toe footwear.

No one was uber-tactical. Death to stereotypes. I don't think that there was a black pair of BDU's even in sight!

Everyone was having a great time, though I suspect that the 10 year old there with his parents shooting what looked like a Savage .22LR bolt action was having the best

Same with the range I visit. I've shot next to the best people as well. I've shot next to cops and they've helped me a bit with my stance and grip. I've let them shoot my Taurus because it's not a popular hand gun and they've all liked it. Seems like in Utah it's Glock, Kahr, S&W. I'm sure it's the same elsewhere.

I go there to have fun and not to show anything off.
