Hi! Been a while since I was on the forum last. I am building myself an AR (while I still can...). Parts have gotten scarce and often expensive (lots of people of a like mind to myself - "get it while you still can" ). Right now I am concentrating on getting the hardest-to-find stuff first (receiver parts, barrel, magazines, etc.)
I have been looking around, and I am finding that a LOT of places are sold out of .223 or 5.56mm ammo (my barrel is chambered for 5.56, so I don't have to worry about excessive chamber pressures). Other than hand-loading (I don't have the dies, and components are scarce as well), is there any sort of reasonably reliable source of ammo for my gun - one that is not constantly "sold out"?
