Got some 62 gr. tracer bullets to try just for fun. They are a lot longer than the regular 62 gr. bullets, therefore when seated to the same overall length the extra length is inside the case, reducing the case capacity. The spokesman for Wideners said to just load them the same as regular 62 gr. bullets, I can't believe that, longer bullet same OAL you have to have increased the pressure inside the case. Anybody have any experience with these? TIA!!

Seat them to the cannelure. Military loaded tracers usually seat with the case mouth up to the top of the cannelure. MAX load for M856 tracer is 24.7grs of WC844 military ball powder (approximated by H335). REDUCE THAT LOAD by at least 10% when experimenting with powders. The load is made for LC brass, so it should be safe with commercial brass, but not necessarily with foreign military brass.
Edit: forgot to add-OAL is about 2.26" This stuff is made to fit in M16mags.

Poodle Shooter, many thanks, that makes more sense. I just couldn't believe that you'd use the same OAL and powder charge since the tracer is almost a 1/4" longer. Goes to prove that some people, even though they work for a company selling shooting stuff, don't know what they're talking about.
