Can anyone help with a recipe for this cartridge using 110 grain bullets? Most of the data is for +<123 grain. Thanks. (7.62 39) Mini 30

have used 110gr in 308 for plinking and thought it was low cost not so the amount of powder off sets the cost.
Yeah have used in 7.62x39 they were plated bullets really made a mess of things took a bit of tweeking to get the charge to cycle the action and not melt the bullet still got smearing, It was a while back once home I will find the data i used and let you know. Its tough getting enough powder in the case compacted.

Here's what I cAME UP WITH AS A GOOD LOAD FOR MY sks. Powder==17 grains of SR4759, bullet==cast Lyman #311359 sized to .310 with gas check. My own lube. NO LEADING after thousands of rounds.

I was using h4895 with the 123 grain bullets and it was a compressed load. I was wondering how much powder can be compressed before it does bad things?

Hornady shows:
110 gr bullet # 3010SP
17.3 -19.8 gr. max using IMR4227 powder

20.3-26.6 gr. max using IMR4198 powder
COL: 2.200"

I like a 123 gr better
