Reloading Bench expansion :-)

Cool bench.

I have two Dillon SDBs. I built a storage stand for storing the one not in use out of the way. Actually, the stand holds two SDBs for future expansion. I then swap them out in the operating position when I need to change. I change presses when changing cartridges instead of rebuilding the press.

But, it looks like you still have some bench space available for another press.

Hi cfullgraf,

I'm going to setup the 2nd 550B to the right of the one in the pic. and set it up for small pistol primers and just swap out tool heads. I'm waiting for a friend to build me another maple base you see in the pics and for the press to ship in a few days. For now the plan is that the right side of bench will be dedicate to precision rifle with the Lyman T mag.

Hey Chuck,

Thanks....I've got 44Spl's dies enroute for the large primer 550B on left. I had to adjust dies on it(45acp) and quite haven't gotten the hang of seating die...my buddy who sets these up in his sleep keeps saving my bacon:confused:

Thank you gentlemen ... Wish I could take credit for the design. But my good friend & NRA reloading instructor deserves the credit. It is a lot of fun in the man cave. :))

Very nice setup. Tell me about the bases below the 550Bs. Are those bolted to the bench top or self standing?

My friend made those for me out of Maple. They're bolted to the counter tops and the holes are all spaced the same giving me the option of easily moving presses around.
