Reloading Bench Floor Covering

Yeah I kicked the edge of it this morning. I used wide painters tape to stick the edges to the floor.
It’s good you just kicked it and it is a good idea that you taped it down.

I tripped over the last mat I had in front of my bench and dumped a tray full of brass that I had just put the powder in all over the floor. That was the last straw. Floor mat went to a neighbor who wanted it. ;)

I you have an ollies nearby they have small linoleum rolls really cheap. Supposedly they buy rolls slightly off from intended color at a deep discount and pass that cheapness along.

I found this discussion of floor coverings quite interesting. Every possible misfortune has happened to me, though I have not used a vacuum on spilled powder. I am resolved to be satisified with bare, stained concrete of my basement cave. When the accumulation of spent primers, dog hair, and various debris becomes objectionable, I sweep with foxtail and dustpan, run a magnet over the pile to retrieve any errant stainless tumbler pins. I would paint but that would entail moving safe(1500 lbs) supply cabinet and bench. No thank you I'll just sweep.
Thanks for listening to a grumpy old fart.
