Almost all reloading manuals will give you oal specs. Do you guys have any manuals, if you don't STOP everytning until you get some and read them completly!

There's no OAL 'spec' for any specific bullets. Find what fits the magazine, feeds properly and chambers easily and it's right.

Remington Core Lokt bullets all have crimp cannulures.

Seat to the cannulure and it will be just like factory OAL.

IMR's Reloading Guide which isn't produced any more lists an oal with the 150 gr Rem SPCL at 3.200". They didn't list 165 or 180. Got a gun store that sells Rem 30-06 ammo that would allow you to measure factory loads? Other than that you'd have to carefully check your rifle or rifles to make sure the rounds will chamber with the correct overall length.

Yea, I know, that's a .30-30, but it's all the same. :)

If he is trimming his brass properly, the cannelure rule is right on.

Not that you have to load it to the cannelure, or even crimp if recoil isn't moving bullets in the case on the ones in the tube.

All you have to do is load to an OAL that functions, but if you trim the cases to the proper length, and crimp into the cannelure, they will function through the action.
