I just bought a RCBS Rock Chucker single stage press and started reloading. I have since seen the Dillon progresives. RCBS has a conversion to turn mine into a turret press. Is that conversion worth it or should I buy the Dillon 650? If I I buy the Dillon it would be used for my pistols and would likely use the RCBS for my rifle.

Single stage press is the best for rifle as far as accuracy goes. If you plan on pumping out a lot of pistol get a dillon 550b or 650. Yes you can use the 550 and 650 for rifle no problem for just plinking around. Accuracy is best 1 at a time.

The Dillon 550b, IMO, is much more versatile than the 650, especially if you want to add rifle cartridges.
Keep the RC as it is like Kingcreek said. If you turn it into a turret press, you still won't have a progressive. I loaded thousands of rounds on a single stage press, and I just can't see a turret being much faster than batch loading on a single stage. If you want a turret, you can get a Lee probably cheaper than the kit to eff up your currently perfect Rockchucker. Just my opinion-YMMV.
