Reloadron:

a special thanks to you for the information you have given, you are a spring of knowledge and hope others will learn from you as much as I have.

got great news the spot they saw on my lung was just a shadow. I am going to join the local shooting club next week, and the wife and I are going to go have some fun shooting together.

I have been teaching the wife to shoot for a couple of years now, she does very well, and it is our time. now if I could just get her to go deer hunting. she does not want to shoot bambi.

she says she can out shoot me, so we have a friendly wager going on, we are going out tuesday of next week, and she is already talking smack, I just hope I win. she has become a crack shot with her little marlin 22.

Good health news scottbird.

I have a question for the forum regarding cast lead/reduced loads mentioned up-thread. When would using a gas check be advised? I know that it's primary use is to help seal the gases behind the bullet and reduce leading of the barrel. Is there a hard and fast rule for when a gas check is warranted?
