Has anyone used the the Oregon Trail - Laser Cast reloading manual? How does it compare to others? Any strong points that other books don't cover as well?

I'm particularly interested in moderately heavy-for-caliber cast bullets, e.g., 265 in .44, 255 in 45 AR / ACP, 255 & 300 in 45 Colt.

I have a few copes of it. It's useful in that it details loads for all of their specific bullets. Although if you're a smart fellow, you can use the other manuals you already have and extrapolate the same data.

I don't currently have my manuals with me, so I can't remember if they have heavy load data or not. I *believe* they have sections for cowboy action and some of the other gun sports in them.

I find the manual most useful as a supliment to other manuals. The load data is rather conservative.

I've had very good luck with their bullets. Very uniform, easy to load, accurate and value priced.

The manual is good for their bullets, but I wish they would bring out a 2nd edition and add some more powders. Agreed it is a bit conservative for lead but it is a great supplement.
