Howdy,
is there a source that lists the differences between reloading manual editions, in particular what's been added/removed/changed? I have access to some older reloading manuals and want to know if there's any difference between them and the newest editions:
Sierra 5th, Speer #14, Hornady 7th, and Lyman 46th.

I'm interested in 38 Super, 9x23mm Win, and 40S&W.

Since the inception of transducer pressure testing, there have been some significant changes in data as a result of more accurate pressure testing. Some powders have even been removed completely for various cartridges, some powders have been reformulated or completely discontinued as well. So yes, changes in data is often decisions that were based on previous pressures estimates once thought to be safe to use prior to modern testing.

There is no data revision record available to the reloader that I am aware of other than the different printed editions of manuals/online editions that are current or archived. You must do the homework I am afraid.;) FWIW I have more than 2 dozen older assorted reloading manuals at my disposal (40's to present). The current on line data is "the most accurate" per the various propellant/bullet manufacturers. I am sure lawyers and such have a say with the safety aspect as things are sometimes completely removed or severely neutered with regards to past editions. Take that as it is---a safety notice and reload with caution, especially if you wander outside published data for any reason. You should always do that anyway IMHO.
YMMV

Your Speer #14 and your Sierra #5 are their most recent manuals.

Nosler #7 is free on-line and Nosler's web site.
