hey guys. quick question. i love my 500. i really do. its a blast to shoot but i notcied the more i am shooting it the more money ammo is getting. i am not complaining on how much it cost cause i knew it would be expensive gun to shoot when i bought it, just looking to save some money.

i have never reloaded an kind of round in my life. i would like to know if anyone can help me in getting started. i need the machine, powder, primers, etc and very good instructions so i dont hurt myself

thanks
steve

Buy a good manual

Before you buy anything else buy a good manual and read it cover to cover. I started 25 years ago with a Hornady manual and while it won't make you an Expert it will get you headed in the right direction. The 500 may not be the best round to start with but it certainly offers some big savings over factory loads.

Good Manual
Reloading Press
Scale
Calipers
Brass
Bullets
Primer
Powder

There are previous posts that go into getting started in great depth.
