Reloading Press Stand

Using a 2x8 and proper clamps works well when you need to move a loader. Just be sure to clamp unit to a sturdy table.
With padding if it is a nice table. A newspaper (several pages thickness) or a towel will usually do.

I used to wedge a 2x6 with press mounted on it into the drawer of an end table. The slight tilt made operating the press a little more convenient. My scale, supplies and loading blocks rested on the adjacent coffee table.

Now, I use a folding workbench (Stanley, Black & Decker, etc)

As a follow up to my start of this post. I was really drawn to the Craftsman Workstation bench that photosaurus posted and a special shout of thanks for the links he provided as well as answering several PM's for me. It was great timing for me as Sears was running Thanksgiving sales. I also went with the Husky 27" Hardwood Tool Cabinet Top benchtop that he used as well. The butcher block hardwood makes a really good looking work surface. I cut down the supplied MDF top and glued and screwed it to the inside so it's a tank. Two of the presses screws also go through the metal cross bar.

I just received my new Lee Auto Drum so last night after the bench was complete I had to give it some tests and it's a keeper for sure. Looking forward to doing some reloading this weekend.

Thanks to all ideas and suggestions in the thread, just what I was looking for and I am sure this will benefit others in the future doing some searching that want to keep reloading space to a minimum.

Here is a picture but not really organized yet.
