reloading programs for your pc

PCJim mentioned this one recently, and I'm liking it a lot:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/reloadersrfrnce/

It has an unbelievable amount of content, including firearms manuals, reloading data, printable targets, and so on. There are firearms and reloading materials inventory databases and cost calculators. It's a bunch of downloading, but well worth it! It's going to be my primary shooting/reloading software henceforth.

If anyone here wants to try it out but has too slow an internet connection to do the downloads, I will gladly mail you a DVD with the installations on it.

PC Jim's program is terrific...

Not free but really good is QuickLoad.

Especially if you want to see what the difference in changing even 0.001 in OAL or a .05 grain charge is going to have...

In reality for the most of us.. none... but fun none the less.

Guys, I don't want to take undue credit. I happened across the program when trying to find some loads. Full credit goes to it's author, wiljen at users.sourceforge.net. If you download the program, you'll soon find that he/she put a LOT of effort into the final product.

pcjim

i downloaded the program you mentioned from sourceforge.net but i cant open it
it is a MDB format or something like that and cant get it to open or run.
as my computer nohow is not that good any help would be much appreciated.

Aussie, the download is actually a Microsoft Access database file. You will have to have the Microsoft Access program which is a part of the Microsoft Office suite, or another database program that is capable of running an Access database.

How does it work?

I'm currently downloading what appears to be the program (sourceforge) and its 6 files totaling more than 1.5GIGS! looks to be a handy program but WOW thats HUGE! Am I downloading the right thing? How does it work? which file starts the program?

Thanks much
