I every so often check Craigslist for firearm items (very few make it past the watchful eyes of the screeners) but the other day I cam across a hell of a deal that had just been posted. I got:

1 box Hornady marked 180 grain .308
1 box unknown 150 grain BTSP
1 box Hornady 130 grain .308 SP
1 box Nosler combined tech silver tip 150 grain .308
40 sized and primed .308 cases

All that for $25 otd. Then when I got home I realized the real good news :)

The taped up box of Hornady 180 grain bullets, was really 98 black tip AP rounds :what:

At the risk of ratting myself out, I picked up a Hornady Lock-n-Load AP press, 1#powder, 2 die sets, and 200 45acp GDHP bullets for $250 last week. The press is missing the priming system, but the replacement parts will run about $75.
I purchased 5k CCI34 primer for $100, 8# H4895 for $100, and 2k IMI 62gr fmj 223 bullets for $150 about 6 weeks ago. There are some great deals, if you take the time to look for them.

Speaking of Craigslist, I am tempted to call this idiot up and string him along. Promise to meet him somewhere and not show up, that kind of thing.

He is selling primers for 400 dollars for a case of 5000. I don't care how bad you need primers, they aren't worth more than 150 dollars for a case of 5000. This guy is just gouging and gouging hard.

I hope no one buys his crap at those Cheaper Than [strike]Dirt[/strike] Gold prices.
