Thank you.

185 Grain SWC

and

45 Button
.452 Diameter
.45 ACP
185 Grain SWC Flat-Base

mcp45, welcome to THR!

OAL will ultimately depend on the pistol/barrel you are shooting out of.

I load Missouri Bullets 185 gr Bullseye #2 same as 200 gr Bullseye #1/IDP #1 - Typically at 1.25" OAL to feed in most 45 pistols. If you are loading for accuracy, test longer OALs out to about 1.275" to see if they feed/chamber well from the magazine.

I haven't used the Button bullet, so maybe someone else can comment.

Check out this excellent thread to determine the max OAL.

Thank you, i just started Bullseye and i'm trying to get the right aol. i will load a few and try it.

Thank you

OAL is misleading as the nose shape/size are variable regardless of how good the quality control is. Load the SWCs so just a thumbnail or so of the bearing surface is out of the case.

Seat semi wad cutters like shown in the picture below. Measuer it afterwards if you want to know the OAL
