I have made several batches of shells for my 300 Win Mag and noticed a difference in cleaning. Usually, with factory ammo, after 10 shots the rifle is dirty. I can shoot 15 rounds out of the 300 Win Mag now with reloads (that's about all my shoulder asks for), run a wet patch, brush, dry patch and there is hardly any discoloration compared to the factory stuff.

I'm using CCI Magnum primers, Seirra's 110 gr HP and 165 gr Gamemaster bullets with H4831sc.

Anyone else notice a difference?

well I dont reload big smokeless rifle yet but in pistols I have shot a wide range of powders and the only two I have come across that are cleaner then some factory stuff is aa#2 and vita-v n320

I might have to start reloading for .357 Mag soon then. I hate how dirty it gets after I fire even 6 shots, not to mention the hot powder that sometimes drifts into my face.

My reloads are generally much cleaner than factory ammo. The only exception is some Fiocchi 9mm Luger I recently purchased in bulk, looking for cheap shooting while saving the brass. For whatever reason, that Fiocchi brass comes out of my Berettas looking like it just came out of the tumbler. It's almost weird...
