rem 1100 not cocking

took my 1100 apart for preseason cleaning,after a quick round on pattern board. put back together and now it will not cock. pull on action bar,not moveing--take out trigger block and bar moves all the way back.
in looking at trigger block,I see nothing out of place. I do not strip the trigger block,but spray clean,and blow out with air. at loss as to what is stopping the action bar and bolt.
all suggestions wanted.

thanks 25,that is great artical,saving it for referance. but in looking at this I still can not see,what my problem might be. trigger block removed,action bars go all the way back. trigger block in,gun locks up,action bars not moveing to rear at all.

One way or another, I'd look at the wishbone, as oneounceload says.

do not work when you are sick--------- reason gun not cocking-- barrel not in frame. without barrel,bolt moves forward and things not lineing up. put barrel on,all OK.
