Can you tell me if it is safe to shoot Plus P ammo in a standard S&W model
15-1?

As long as that M15-1 is in good condition your completely safe to shoot .38+P.

Thanks everyone, I did too, but was challenged as to the safety of the round.
The gun is in almost mint shape, but just wanted some other expert opinions.
